Air Pollution & Gas Detection

Why GIS Drones For Air Pollution & Gas Detection

GIS Drones’ gas detection payloads can work as mobile air quality mapping systems and locate toxic gases and air pollution, especially for environmental monitoring and the oil and gas inspection industry. The Drone air monitoring sensor can detect components such as:

  • Temperature and Humidity
  • Inhalable Particulate Matter (PM 2.5, PM 10)
  • Total Suspended Particles (TSP/PM 100)
  • CXHY (flammable gas)
  • VOCs (volatile organic compounds)
  • CO
  • HCI
  • O3+ NO2
  • SO2
  • CO
  • H2S, and
  • NH3

Key Benefits

  • Can sense up to nine hazardous gas
  • Geo-referenced and Time-stamped (1Hz) Gas Concentration Data
  • Real-time Data Transmission and Visualisation
  • 16Hz microcomputer in the gas sensor performs bias correction, humidity, and temperature correction algorithms
  • High Efficiency, Quick Localization, & Multi-Dimensional Inspection

Multi-Platform Operation

We offer a data link between the sensor and the ground station (PC or Tablet) that transmits the air data to the ground station through the software loaded on a PC or pad. The sensor can work with any well-known drone brand, a vehicle mount, or a handheld.

Real-time Monitoring Software

The air monitoring software generates a real-time map of air pollution concentration distribution, which includes geographic longitude, latitude, altitude, and time information. In addition, various colours and air values automatically mark the quality of the air.

Reduced risk

We can reduce the personnel risk by sending the drone into hazardous regions to collect data on the air quality rather than sending people there.

Our Deliverables

  • 2D Real Time Pollutant Heat Map
  • 2D Real Time Isoline Pollution Heat Map
  • 3D Real Time Point Cloud Pollutant Heat Map
  • Automatic Mission Report
